1/8 Pastured Pork Bundle

This is the best pork around, period. We raise Berkshire pigs on organic feed, in the woods, supplemented with grass-fed milk and regeneratively grown vegetables and some high-quality table scraps. These pigs don't eat anything approximating a standard American diet for a person, let alone a standard pig ration. 

We only raise a few pigs a year so we can raise them how we would if they were just for us. And we share some with you. They are co-workers and help us turn woods into pasture, and they are exceptional in every way.

In addition to the grass-fed milk and organic, whole-food grains and minerals, the pigs are also supplemented with high-end table scraps, things like cucumber peels, corn cobs, cheese rinds, over-ripened fruit and bread ends. This was not bakery waste or distillers grains. This was food off of our own tables. 

The difference is something you will absolutely taste even if you haven't had pastured pork before. Our pork is different.

We are a small, family farm. When you place an order, we then schedule and harvest the animal. We do our best to be as expedient as possible, but real food is sometimes slow food. The best we can tell you is what season we will harvest your meat. We recognize that we are taking payment up front. We started the expenses for this animal three years ago. Real food is not always convenient.

We do our very best to make you happy and nourish your family with food you can’t get elsewhere. You can buy “grass-fed” in the grocery store or online. We don’t think it’s the same food. But if you want immediate turnaround, there are better options for you. If you want meat loaded with phytonutrients and soul that can’t be injected in any factory, you’ve come to the right place.

We will happily accept the fat and/or bones back as a donation to the livestock guardian dogs (they will thank you!!) but you have to buy all of those things as one package because you are not buying meat, but part of an animal that we are processing for you as a service. We will have it ready for you at our on-farm store after we send you an email that the meat is ready for pick-up.
